Sharon McLennon is the founder and CEO of Renaissance Management Group, Inc. a management and facility maintenance firm that provides property management, preservation, maintenance and administrative support services to commercial and residential property owners, non-profit businesses as well as local municipalities and the United States government.
McLennon started her career in New York City with Price Waterhouse Coopers, LLP in the emerging market practice. Four years later, she transferred to Miami as a Senior Associate. During her tenure with the Firm, her client roster spanned several industries and included well-known companies such as Brooks Brothers, Norwegian Cruise Lines, Racal Datacom and the Unilever Pension Fund. Five years after joining the Firm, she successfully transitioned into private industry and over the next decade held positions as controller and director of accounting.
In 2000, she founded Renaissance and began providing real estate management and consulting services. Renaissance currently manages over 125 private properties and associations throughout Dade and Broward county. In 2002, McLennon founded Splendor Realty, Inc. an independent real estate brokerage company focused on meeting the needs of first-time home buyers. Since its formation, Splendor Realty has been involved in placing more than 600 home buyers into homes of their own.
She is actively involved in the community and has served on several boards including the Lauderhill Chamber of Commerce (Immediate Past President), National Association of Real Estate Brokers (Budget & Finance Chair), the South Florida Board of Realtists (Past President), Broward Affordable Housing Task Force (Treasurer) and the Lauderhill YMCA (Advisory Board Chair). She currently serves on the boards of Amazing Community Partners, Inc and Island SPACE.
McLennon is a New York State certified CPA and holds a Bachelor’s and a Master’s degree in Economics from the City College of New York as well as a Master’s in Business Administration from Baruch College. She is a licensed real estate broker, community association manager and real estate instructor.
She currently lives in Plantation with her husband Wayne and two sons.
