Clover E. Barrett Thompson is a semi-retired administrative manager. She has managed corporations including:

  • Sunshine Agencies – distributors of pumps & hydraulic supplies
  • International Purchasing Inc & Derrick Jones and Co – distributors of utility company supplies and paper products
  • The Tyre King Ltd – distributors of automobile tires
  • SCL (Jamaica) Ltd – distributors of specialized engineering product solutions and Milwaukee power tools

She currently sits of the Boards of SCL (Jamaica) Ltd and Island SPACE. She lived and worked in Kingston, Jamaica until 2009, and is now a permanent resident of the United States.

Island SPACE is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to the development and advancement of arts, culture, history, and educational initiatives that represent the Caribbean region, in South Florida and the broader diaspora community. The organization produces events, and supports independent artists, organizations and groups who deliver high-level presentations, in various art forms.
